My iphone will not turn off and i think i know why

My iphone 4s has been having this problem, it will not turn off (slide to power off, seconds later it restarts) and the battery is draining like crazy. After some thinking i think its something with a stuck pin and it is searching for a cabel plugged in constantly. I have restored and blown out the port and all that. But does anyone know of any way to fix this quick, i am going camping again and i will have no power so i need to be able to turn it off and have battery

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

It is not from a stuck pin, but a possibility of broken power button caused by water damage or moisture by sudden change in temperature. The battery draining are most likely caused by defect or application on constant use of location data. You can try restoring the firmware or downgrading see if it helps.

Since the battery is the issue a temporary solution is to get any battery case pack e.g like mophie juice pack or any portable charging power house, other than that the iPhone should be brought to apple to be diagnosed because the iPhone button should work and be able to turn off in whatever circumstance, they will replace it or fix it, the battery draining is not normal and should also be fixed.

Alright, I checked the sensor, no water damage. and i don't think you get whats going on. heres what happens

1. Hold down power button until "Slide to power off appears"

2. Slide the slider

3. Iphone gets the spinny wheel

4. Screen goes dark for a second

5. Apple logo appears and the iphone eventually turns on

I have already tried restoring. 😟

So if it wasn't damaged by water it might be a unparalled pin or a glitch, but actually of you full charge the iPhone when you see the plug icon inside the battery bar turn it off, then once the spin is almost to the poit it will disappear immediately quick unplug the cable it will not restart and it will solve your problem, it should work give it a try. since once a the iPhone battery is full it wont turn on fo further cable charge.

Gosh, It's a battery issue the iPhone battery sensor to display it's capacity status, you can try installing battery apps, it should calibrate the iPhone, as Before you should see the plug icon like socket inside the Battery bar instead of lighting bolt, then turn it off and quick pull out the socket before the spin is gone. check of it works as it should.
