itunes is not playing full preveiw of songs

Itunes is not playing full preveiw of songs. it maybe plays 3 secounds of it. It took me two hours to just get to this page for help . this is unheard of!! you need to fix all this stuff . I am no computer geek and I know when something is just not being keept up! it is awlfull
