Seagate GoFlex Drive 3TB and iMovie Problem

I go to finder, click on FreeAgent GoFlex Drive (external hard drive) under devices, click on movies, click on imovie projects, then select a current project I'm working on, it doesn't initiate or appear in imovie? Any thoughts?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
