    More info needed

    • Which version of iTunes are you using?
    • What is your iPod software version as shown on the iTunes Summary page?

    Error 143x, normally caused by harddisk write timeout, probably due to

    1. iPod Hardisk failing - Do the iPod Disk Diagnostic refer to this earlier tt2 post
    2. Slow USB port, low data-rate, due to sharing with other USB devices - Disconnect all other USB devices while Restoring or syncing. Dont use any USB hub and also use the USB port at the back of the PC. and not the front.
    3. CPU Resource drained by other Apps like email, Antivirus, web broswer - Stop them, but if stopping Antivirus please disconnect the PC from the Inernet first.
