Problem beetwen itunes and norton.anyone can help me?

I updated several days ago the latest version of itunes on my toshiba satellite (Windows xp)where i had norton antivirus installed..
Some days later I found I can't open itunes anymore and the pc blocked and it can't switch off as well...
My assistance service told me it was about a problem of conflict between itunes software and norton firewall but he can't succeed to solve the problem..
He said only that I have to switch off norton before to use itunes..
Anyone can help me to solve my problem?
If I updated norton could solve the problem?

Make sure the IP address of the Airport Express (AX) is added to the list of safe IPs to Norton.

Open port 5353 on the Norton firewall.

Hy everybody I continue to have problems with my itunes. The apple assistant service updated my norton antivirus and now can open itunes, listen to my music and go to the apple music store. But now I have the big problem that I can't use the research you find songs, authors, advanced research ecc. you find on the top right and that you can open with a click of the mouse on the circle with the leg down on the right. (As well in this forum,where I see "search discussions" and below "more options" I can't click over and I can't open more options).
Anyone Has an idea about how to solve this problems?
I remember I have a window xp sistem on my noteboook and not mac software.
