Thanks for this piece of advice! Yours was the only one which got rid of the unwanted apps permanently. Thank you once again!!!    "I know I am much happier" And so am I

I was having this same problem, and have figured out if you open your itunes on the computer on the left under library you will find apps. Click on that and in categories you will find all of the apps you have ever downloaded.  click on one and it will display everything in that category, from there click on the app you want to delete and press the delete button on your keyboard, you can then put the app in your trash bin and its gone.

I hope this helps everyone out. I know I am much happier

I was wondering the same thing, and figured it out.

Go to the top left of your iTunes screen, and click the drop down - go to Apps

Once all apps are shown, right click on app, and it will give you the option to delete it.

I concur, dme0979 idea worked perfectly. Apps are all gone. You should work for Apple. Thanks for clearing the confusion and given us folks a real answer instead of some wannabe computer tech wizards drivel.
