iMovie export takes ages

Hello,

I have iMovie and have used this to import videos taken from a Sony Camcorder. I put together the footage into about a 2 hour DVD, however when I try to do a standard Export (first trying straight to iDVD, then to Media Browser) it is taken absolutely ages to export.

It seems to suggest 2 hours at first, then it gets stuck half way and the time increases and increases. I have left this on for over 24 hours and it is still stuck at half way and currently saying there are 29 hours left? Surely this cannot be right? I have not amended with the settings or anything, and have exported other iMovie projects before.

Can anyone help?
