problem downloading garageband artist lessons

Howdie All,

Not sure about anybone else but my GarageBand started working. I can log in, purchase, download, everything seems to be ok! Even my old files that I deleted when support told me to delete the application and clean install, appeared after my login on my .Mac account inside the app.

Check and see if you all are operational now.

Seems like they have fixed it after weeks - still poor performance for troubleshooting.

I tried buying Angel by Sarah McLachlan today. I experienced the same problem. The color of the 4.99 button changes when i put the cursor on it, but nothing happens when I click. Garage version 6.0.5

Yes I have tried to buy John Legend but have the same problem. I would be intresed to know how those that have been able to buy these have done it

Apple fixed something at their end - a server or a config or something. There was no update required to Garageband on my iMac. Seems whatever they fixed is broken again ... c'mon Apple .... people want to spend $$$ and you're stopping them.

Add me to the list. Same symptoms. Mousing over the "$4.99" button for an Artist Lesson changes it to a green "BUY NOW" button, but pressing that button does nothing.

same problem. Can not download any artist lessons. If I hover over over the buy button, the button turns green but nothing happens

Same problem here, too. I'm using OS X 10.8.2 and GarageBand 6.0.5 (latest on both). I removed GB from my MacBook Air (came preloaded) and purchased it from the App Store thinking maybe Lessons aren't supported in the "free" version, but same issue and $14.99 poorer. I filled out the GB feedback and got nothing more than a thanks for your feedback message.

Same issue. Deleted the lessons to make room on my drive. When I tried to re-download through Garageband not only does it try to make me buy them again, but is does not do anything at all when I click on the account button in the store, but the support articles that say to go to the apple store online and in your account to find downloadable purchases were no help. In fact although they are in my purchase history still, there is NOTHING about downloadable purchases. I called support about 2 weeks ago and they helped me about as much as a hole in the head. I can download the learn to play lessons that i've used with no problems, but the artist lessons are somehow nowhere to be found.

I am not about to try to purchase another artist lesson before this is fixed either.

I tried backing up my lessons before I did a reinstall, and my restored lessons no longer play video... just audio. And I too cannot download/purchase artist lessons.

people. read the replies in the thread. its got nothing to do with your versions or your install or your re-install. it has been fixed previously by apple with some server based change on their side.
