Append audio to photo?

I have a Pentax H90 and when I take pictures there is an excellent feature to record voice memos and have them reference to a specific picture on the camera, when importing into Aperture it will then attach those voice memos automatically.

It's really neat but I don't think the iPhone does it and was wondering if there was an app for that anybody was aware of?
