I have gone through all the troubleshooting suggestions. Anyone have another suggestion for why Itunes will not launch on my laptop?

If I start iTunes immediately after logining in to XP, it works. If I close it, it will not reopen.
I followed the instructions on this page.

It turned out to be a user-specific problem as described on this page. I then followed the instructions for deleting the "iTunes preference files" and it fixed the problem.
