I think you've answered the question yourself.

You can drag it to a CD, if you have enough space in the CD.

Best bet, drag your files to a USB Thumb Drive or Memory Card. I do however, prefer the USB Thumb Drive.

One more suggestion, format your USB Thurmb Drive or Memory Card to MAC OS Extended Journaled to have less issues when copying your files back to your MB.

Open the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and erase it.

Open disk utility and highlight your memory card.

Hit the erase button once you've chosen Mac Os Extended Journaled on the drop down menu.

One thing to point out, once your format your memory card to mac os, you won't be able to use it with a windows pc.

yup.....after you reset to factory, you don't need to do anything else.....Well, after you've copied all your files back to your mb that is..

what do you mean?

try dragging some at a time instead of a whole bunch at a time.

or, highlight the files you want to copy and right click to copy.

go to your memory card and hit paste.
