I Want To Reset My MacBook Pro. If I Do, What Will Happen To My Microsoft Files? If I Don't Wanna Lose Them, What Can I Do With Them?

Is there a place where I can put them so I can restore them after? Or can I just put them on a regular CD, and then after resetting my MacBook Pro, just put the disc in and then drag them in? Or maybe a memory card? Or do I have to get a special CD, or a special folder to put them in?
Also, I want to reset my MacBook Pro to factory settings again.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), I've wanted to reset my MacBook Pro

I think you've answered the question yourself.

You can drag it to a CD, if you have enough space in the CD.

Best bet, drag your files to a USB Thumb Drive or Memory Card. I do however, prefer the USB Thumb Drive.

One more suggestion, format your USB Thurmb Drive or Memory Card to MAC OS Extended Journaled to have less issues when copying your files back to your MB.
