How do I change my e-mail address for i-cloud?

Do you mean you need to change your @me.com iCloud email address, or your email address associated with your Apple ID and iCloud account?

If the latter, go to http://appleid.apple.com/

If the former, you can't change it, except by opening a new iCloud account and choosing a new @me.com email address.

Start by changing it with Apple,

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

Go into settings _ iCloud _ account _then change your email. Hope this helped.

My me.com email is in my madien name (e.g. jane.harris@me.com) can I change it to my married name jane.smith@me.com. Otherwise I can not use this email account.

You can't change an email address once created - but you can add an alias to it, so if your desired name is not already taken do that by following these instructions:

Mail sent to your new email alias will still come into the same mailbox but you can send from the new address.
