Press both butons at the same time and hold, it'll restart!! It has happened to me
you phone is locked and i cant get back in it, it says "iphone Disabled"
Is the device information (serial number or other information) available in itunes?
if yes: try to do a manual back up (if your lucky you will be able to have a back-up, if not unfortunatly you lost your info that was not in a previous backup). then click restore in version section of the sumery page, do not back up the settings.
if no: press and hold the home and power button while the device is pluged into the computer (hold until you see the apple on the screen). it will be detected as being in recovery mode. restore it, if it needs to do a download first you might need to redo the process as the recovery mode might kcik out after 20 minutes or so. simply put it back in recovery mode and do restore again.
yes my 11 yr old daughter entered a security code in her phone and then forgot what it was, her and a friend tried to guess atr it and noe phone displays iphone disabled and under that says connect to itunes, when I do this itunes says it's password locked and enter passcode, but phone won't let me, got any ideas
If you are unable to restore, as the manual says to do, then type "unable to restore" into the search bar at the top of this page by Support and read the resulting help article.
Place it in DFU mode by holding the home and lock/sleep button for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo. Then connect your iPhone to iTunes and restore.
this is my problem with my iphone4, my son forgot his password for his securitycode, i tried doing DFU mode but it still go back to the screen asking for password.
