Slow BT mouse after iSync with Sony Ericsson K600i

Is anyone able to help? I have set up my K600i to iSync with my address book and .Mac. Whenever I perform an iSync, after I have finished my mouse is very slow and unresponsive. The only way of returning it to normal is putting the computer to sleep and then waking it up again and problem solved. Doubt this is very good for the computer and would hope there is an easier solution.

Hello Charles:

I am not familiar with the device you mention (K600i). If that is a USB connected device, there are occasional conflicts between the Bluetooth module and USB devices - especially ones that are older than 2.0. Usually they make the USB module disappear - not your situation.

You might also contact the device manufacturer for possible additional information and/or software updates.

The K600i is bluetooth and that is how it iSyncs with my iMac. Strangely, when I link the phone up to my iBook via bluetooth to transfer pictures or act as my modem, the iBook doesn't suffer the same problem. But then I only use the mousepad with the iBook so there is no external mouse to contend with.

The problem feels as if once the BT connection is made with the phone it simply slows down the other BT devices I have with the iMac (mouse and keyboard though the keyboard doesn't seem to be affected).

Strange.

Thanks for your suggestion anyway.
