Can you add comments to cells in Numbers app?

You are not able to make comments in the Numbers app for iOS.

For anyone reading this there is a sort of dodgy and very limited alternative if you're desperate. I format the cell as a Pop-Up Menu, set the initial field to blank or the value I need in the cell and then add my comment as the next option. Not perfect but it does pop up information. When you touch the cell you see your 'comment' as the next option in the list.

This worked, thanks! Does anyway know of a way to make this 'comment' in the pop=up menu or drop=down list without hovering over or clicking on the cell? With MS Excel, there is a little red flag to let you know that there is a comment. I guess I could color the cell or something, but....
