Error 108 Mac Book Pro

Hello everybody, I need help with exporting a project in iMovie 11. I've made a project of 15 minutes more or less, with photos, videos made with iphone 4, titles, trnsitions and music, but when I try to export appares a message about the famous error 108.

My MBP is new and I have all the 500 mb in my disposition. The only kind of file exported is the mobile one, for all the others (HD 1084, 720, Big and medium format) it compares the error...

Can you help me to solve the problem, please...??

Hi Error -108

Error -108 memFullErr Ran out of memory [not enough room in heap zone]

Turn off - TimeMachine usually works - re-try.

Can mean many thing's - My first thought is

• Free Space on Start-Up hard disk. How much ? (other disks do not count)

Can this be true 500Mb - is very small - less than a CD and only a tenth of a DVD ?

I never let my go under 25 Gb (50 times more)

Thank you Bengt, you'r right, I wrong, I would say that I have 500 GB in my disposition...the Mac is new...

The spece is not the problem, I don't know.

I have to optimize the project? Or I can try to export for example in a external USB??

I don't know what I have to do...

Give me any possible solution please...Thank you so much.

I am having the same problem! It is driving me crazy. I made 1 hour video a few weeks ago with no problem. Now iMovie won't let me share a 4 minute video without giving me the error 108. I have ove 300 GB HD open and at least 1GB RAM at any given time.
