iPhoto for iPad app syncs photos (in an album) into a completely random order other than those in iPhoto for Mac. My photos are arranged properly (chronologically) in iPhoto on my Mac, and in "Photos" on my iPad, but when the app, iPhoto for iPad, is opened and the photos sync, they are a complete jumble. ***?

This is a common occurrence and there is no way of changing it. Not sure why it happens that way but it does for most users. You an leave feedback for Apple on iPhoto for iOS here,
It's driving me crazy - the same thing happened to me. I created a special album in order to show friends some of our photos from a recent trip to Peru & Ecuador.
Set everything up on AppleTV, using AirPlay to mirror my iPad - started up the slideshow of the albums and...the photos are ALL mixed up in random fashion, Peru photos in amongst the Ecuador photos and vice versa, so that the slideshow made no sense.
