    lte is about speed

    so it makes it faster to use more data but the tech itself don't use more data

    same deal with 54Mbit wifi vs. 300Mbit wifi

    How much data you use depends on how far you go. If you drive 30 miles to work each day, it does not matter how fast you go, the odometer is still only going to go up by that 30 miles; wether you got there in an hour or 20 minutes. If you do exactly what you did before on the iPad (only faster) with LTE, then you'll use exactly the same amount of data.
