Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect.

I registered an account to upload iBooks.

I never got any do-not-reply email after, as they said they would send to initiate next stpes.

when i try to login now to itunes connect, i get this message:

Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect.

I have emailed ibookstore (at) apple (dot) com multiple times, and no one responds.

I developed ibooks with ibooks author and have no way to upload them now.

Hi all,

I read another blog post at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090506020420AAWegMn where they said:

"

download iTunes http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

install it, open it, then: on the middle of the screen on you left hand side click on Itunes Store. Then on the right hand upper corner click sign up. Then, just follow the steps!

"

I did as they said...and I connect to iTunes, but still not https://itunesconnect.apple.com/

then I found a 14 minute video, the first 3 minutes of which was self promotion, but it actually covered the topic of enrolling for itunesconnect in some detail (basicaly search for apply for itunes connect account)

http://www.simplewealth.com/2011/10/01/how-to-publish-your-book-on-itunes/

I gotta fall asleep at this point though so I've not followed through yet!

Did you open a new account /ID to use only with your books? meaning you now have two accounts each with different email/usernames?

Apple require you to have separate accounts for free and paid paid books.

Some have been able to use their original Apple account details with free books - some have not.

Apple do not send out emails, its up to you to deal with it in your own way.

I suggest you start again, open a new email account specifically for use with free books and open a new Account ID again just for free books, when the Apple account is accepted, you can open a new iTunes Connect account. This way everything is separate and related.

Duplicate the above for paid books and you will need to check out the banking and contracts sections for all the Apple requirements.
