I use iCal to book my clients and I love it! It would be amazing if my iCal remembered my regular clients so that I dont need to type their name every single time but it would remember it. Kind of like a predictive text I suppose! 🙂

I tried looking for options to enable text substitutions on iCal but unfortunetely it seems like there's no such feature! Substitution option shows under edit in most of the apps but not iCal. 😟
This is how I get to text substitutions in iCal (I'm sure there is an easier way): Make a new event in iCal open it to edit and Control-Click the event's title. From the contextual menu select 'substitutions'> 'show substitiutions' and in the window that appears make sure 'text replacement' is checked. Text replacement is now set up in iCal and will use the system wide substitutions.
