How to make a bootable mac OS X lion from a late 2011 macbook pro with lion pre-installed

I don't believe it is possible. They moved away from recovery discs to internet recovery with the newer machines that come with Lion pre-intalled.

Use SuperDuper or CarbonCopy Cloner

to make a bootable backup on an external HD.
