HELP! Can't remove mackeeper, and now clam! getting weird msgs in console!

I searched forums. I deleted the startup commands from the LaunchDaemon folder, restarted. Went back, FOLDER IS GONE!

Downloaded Clamxav. It crashed. I deleted it. It had 400 plus items to remove!

Console now says timers set, loops closed, target class NSA applications?

Dropbox is being affected, HERE's WHAT'S COMING UP.

Get rid of MacKeeper. Search Apple Support Communities for advice regarding its deletion. You will get no further unless and until you rid your system of anything and everything related to MacKeeper and Zeobit.

I suspected that MacKrapper wasn't unintalled properly.

You will need to consider your machine hosed in some fashion and do a # Reinstall Just OS X and other steps to narrow down your issues.

Step by Step to fix your Mac

Backup your user data folders off the machine as soon as possible.

If you decide to try ClamXav again and have issues, come to the ClamXav Forum for fastest assistance.

If any of the items identified are e-mails, don't use ClamXav or the Finder to move them to Quarantine or delete them as that usually causes issues.

I wish that there was a way to get out the message that MacKeeper is nothing short of malware. I was in the same boat, but followed the instructions at http://applehelpwriter.com/2011/09/21/how-to-uninstall-mackeeper-malware/ and finally got rid of the thing. I had actually paid for it too... filed a claim with the Bay Area BBB and got a refund. Good advice to follow if you've actually paid for the thing.
