Has anybody else had problems with this update like getting 'no service'?

Since the update, my phone has been getting 'no service' for about a week now. My other mates and people i know have the same problem. No matter where i am, i get no service. If i turn my phone off, i may get service for a minute or two, then i have to switch off. Please sort it out apple.
