It is on top of the iPad - on the left side - if you are holding the iPad in portrait mode with the home button at the bottom.

It is a standard headphone jack. You have to give the headphones a firm push. Don't force it, but it takes a firm push.
your right all it needed was a firm push... cuz i was trying to push it in there and it was not going in and i was scared itll break something on it. thanks again
i found out it works with a normal headphone as well dumb me lol
