Q: Why do I get a message about updating carrier settings on my iPad every day?

I get this message every day. How can it need to update the settings every single day? It is weird. Ive been getting this for 2 weeks now.

    I did hear from someone who had found that a faulty SIM card from o2 was causing (unspecified) problems but I've not tried asking o2 for a replacement one to see if this cured the problem.
