User uploaded file There are no settings for the camera other than those in the software that runs it.

Web based video chat sites may have unique requirements. I assume "adultfriendfinder" is one of those. The site FAQs or Help links should give you the best answers for compatibility, configuration, and operating questions about these sites.

See Where to Find Help for iSight for other suggestions that may help you.

User uploaded file If iSight works with other applications, or if it passes the checks suggested in How to test your iSight to ensure it is functional after applying the Apple "troubleshooting" suggestions linked there, your problem lies elsewhere. Because YOUR iSight apparently works with iChat AV, my guess is that yours is not a problem with iSight.

Your problem may be with the "adultfriendfinder" software. If "adultfriendfinder" is a web site, your problem may be related to the how the site works (or does not work) for Mac video.

If it is a website, perhaps it uses the Macromedia Flash or some other web browser plug-in for video support. You may need to configure your plugins.

Unless they get better answers here, except for problems with iSight, other readers users who are having difficulty with "adultfriendfinder" may get better help from the people who develop, operate, or support "adultfriendfinder." Those who have a problem with iSight and who are not helped by the info already in this thread should take their iSight to an Apple Service Tech for professional testing.

Hi, I JUST figured out this problem by doing an EXTENSIVE web search, and adding some of my own intuitiveness...LOL. Ok...Apparently the built-in iSight is USB 2.0, SO, That said...When you get to the AFF Brodcast screen where it asks to allow to access your cam...Right Click (Control Click) and select Settings. Then Change the camera to USB...Tokk me a week, but now I have it and its working great!! Hope this helps!!

I figured mine out. I am on a powerpc G4 running 10.4.4 with a external firewire iSight. I launched the webcam and after I said "allow" I control clicked on the image that is suppose to appear, and a drop down menu came up, I went to settings and a new "mini" window came up, if you click on the little webcam that looks like a logitech cam you will see options to what cam you have. I selected the "IIDC Firewire Video". closed the little window, and VOILA it works.

HI!!
You deserve a STAR!!
I think this will help all those who never were able to broadcast with iSight.
The keyword was *Control Click * when one gets the AFF screen allow/deny...
Then select Settings...
then click on Camera icon...
then "Control Click" again to choose firewire or other settings...
and...
VOILA', I finally saw my own video in the box...

PS: I wonder why they do not explain this simple step in their help site...

Well well... STILL BAD NEWS User uploaded file

I can now see my vid in the preview box, it says it broadcasts, but no one can see my vid...

It works on YAHOO and iChat (mac 2 mac), therefore there shouldn't be nothing to repair. (and over a wireless connection)

ANY CLUE???
