Q: find my friend app problem

my find my friend app pops up when i hit the icon to open and use it then it closes after a couple seconds what is wrong with it?

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

Welcome to the Apple community.

You might start out by force quitting the "find my friends" app, then restarting it. If this doesn't help try deleting it and then reinstalling it.

if i delete it will i not be able to find the friends who are on there? like the ones who we have the agreement to see where they are?

Deleting the "find my friends" app will only delete the app itself, it will not delete the app data. Once you reinstall it, all the data relating to your friends will be reinstated within the app itself.
