Spell check choosing wrong replacement word?

I thought my aim was really off but I did it slowly and double, triple and quadruple checked but nope--- Safari 5.1.7 is choosing the FIRST word on the list even tho I continuously choose the CORRECT word. I wrote "Tailland" (the country), and I got a list of 6 or 7 words. I chose the correct spelling and thought my wireless mouse jumped. It chose the word at the top of the list. It doesn't hapen all the time tho. But more often than not.

(wow good thing for drafts being saved because WEB2KITPROCESS just performed an error and had to be shut down--- nice work safari 😠
