Q: error message: itunes was not properly installed...

I have reinstalled itunes about 5 times and it still gives me this error message "itunes was not properly installed. If you wish to import or burn to a cd you will have to reinstall itunes."  How do i fix this problem?

    Could you post your diagnostics for us please?

     

    In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

    ... and click "Next".

     

    When you get through to the final screen:

    ... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

    The last failed MP3 CD burn had error code 4450(0x00001162). It happened on drive E: HP DVD Writer 300n on CDR media at speed 16X.
