this is a format conversion app (mac app store link)
convert the mp4 video to apple TV or ipad format.
and try to sync again

Jun 26, 2012 1:18 AM in response to shazzy01by Menneisyys,Generally, videos produced by HandBrake don't have excess H.264 levels; that is, they should be synched by iTunes.
Alternatively, do you have a third-party multimedia player (e.g., It's Playing, AVPLayerHD, BUZZ Player or GoodPlayer - just to list the four best commercial ones or MoliPlayer (free)) on your iPad? Then, just transfer the videos to them / it via iTunes FIle Sharing. Then, you don't end up having to edit the H.264 level of the videos (if that turns out to be a culprit, after all).
