Itunes will not accept my password on my Iphone

I have an Iphone 4S, for some reason, the Itunes store will not accept my itunes passwords when I'm accessing it through the iphone. I have made sure I have the correct password by going accessing the itunes store and making a purchase through my computer and all worked fine, but no luck when trying to make a purchase through the phone....Can anyone help?
