I installed what I thought was the right driver for my digidesign mbox and now when opening logic it gets stuck on "Checking MIDI Drivers" and when it finally opens it says "Logic has detected a MIDI timeout." I went and uninstalled the driver but it is still doing it. Help! I use Logic Pro 9.

Check the clock source on the mbox. Should be internal.
Did you manually remove the Digi-Avid MIDI driver from Root/Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers?
You might want to check in the same location under your Users/YourName/

It's definitely related to the MBox MIDI driver, did you reboot?
Not sure what else could be hiding unless it's just the same driver loading from the Mac's cache.
Some people had luck when removing the Emagic USB driver as well. Did you check the related MIDI Devices folder?
Yeah I rebooted. I looked in all the related files and the only thing left is is plug-ins but I can't delete it because it's "Required by Mac OS X"
I tried opening GarageBand and it does the same thing and when I open MIDI Setup it won't work.

Bitte packen sie einige Ordner aus) sth about "deeply complicated architecture and i should unpack some folders" ... you guessed right, that there a no folders in this arrange ...
