Hello,
I installed windows 7 x64 in bootcamp partition on my new mid 2012 macbook pro.
I'm having an issue with the ambient light sensor, in windows the device manager says that it can't start (code 10).
I tried to repair/reinstall bootcamp drivers and performed a PRAM reset, so far it didn't help.
Under lion however the sensor seem to work fine.

Missing feature in Windows N version impacts light sensor under bootcamp.
For some reason. If you install the N (specific to EU countries) version of Windows 7 or Windows 8, you must to install additonal Media Player Packs to fix the light sensor startup error.
