I have a cd stuck in the driver. How can I get it to eject? Eject button won't work...restarting doesn't work.

I have a cd that won't eject from the driver. Eject button won't work and restarting won't work. Any suggestions? This has happened before but after a "rest" the disc would come out. Not happening now. The manual is not helpful.

Hold down the trackpad button during startup, and the disc should eject.

Thanks Ronda--I ended up getting it out by going to disk utilities and clicking on eject. If it happens again I'll try your suggestion--Sheila

Depending upon which version of the OS is installed, pressing Command (Apple key) + e (for eject) should do the trick, also.
