Even those Apple employees who participate here do so as private users, not as official Apple represenatives speaking for Apple. So even if you're a small cylindrical mammal adapted to a subterranean lifestyle, you still speak only as a user.

I've been using an iPad of one kind or another for quite some time, and have a couple of apps that monitor processes on it. Absinthe routinely shows up in the list. And my iPad is most certainly NOT jailbroken. ItS part of the OS support processes.

Because I want to check if my iOS is ok. And to be honest I still couldn't get a reliable answer on absinthed daemon. Nobody has been able to tell me what it does and why was somehow launched at 4am when my ipad was sleeping.
