Q: Whilst typing on the computer the active page or box becomes inactive and the type is lost until re-clicked on boxdoc

Whilst typing on my mac the cursor goes without warning and the window needs reselecting to continue writing the email or even this comment!

Mac OS X (10.7.4)

    Then you are hitting the trackpad with one of your fingers, moving the focus to some other program or back to the desktop or there is a hardware problem with your Mac.

     

    If this is on a desktop unit then it is more then likely a hardware problem. Could be your mouse, could be some keyboard combo you are hitting or the keyboard itself.

     

    Normally this should not happen so it is specific to your Mac. Never happens on my Mac or Windows PCs. Just typed this whole response without losing focus.

    Pete,

    You ever fix your issue with the cursor leaving?  Im having the same problem after upgrading to Mavericks.  I can only type for 10 seconds or less..
