how do I add a file of pictures to apple T.V to run a slideshow?

I just got Apple TV and need to know how to add a photo file to my computer on Apple TV. I'm showing a slideshow and can't find those pictures. I have homesharing set up for my computer. Help!

Windows or Mac?

Either way there should be an option in itunes unser Advanced tab at the top to choose photos.

Note - AppleTV (black) cannot store photos as such and will lose them when you power down.
