Jun 27, 2012 10:15 AM in response to nick6297by planb77,Make sure your headphones are plugged ALL the way in, meaning the white part of the headset is flush with the body of the Shuffle. If you are 100% certain that they already all the way in, check the headphone jack for any signs of debris or damage that would be preventing a full connection.
Have you tried a different set up earbuds to see if that helps?
What about resetting the Shuffle?

Best I can figure is it must be linked to the iTunes program, cannot be a coincidence that all mine are doing the same thing. Will report in, taking them to the apple store later today.
