cursor not changing to hand on links
😕 I just noticed as I was testing web sites in Safari that my cursor remains as an arrow instead of turning into a hand on images or text that are links. This is new behavior. Any fix?

It's odd, I've seen that behavior, now and then but I haven't seen it persist.
Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key and choose Library. Then go to Preferences folder and trash these files:
com.apple.finder.plist
com.apple.sidebarlists.plist
Then, restart, or log out and in again.
(You will have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.)

No new behavior. I'd try a simple restart and if that doesn't work maybe rebuilding Finder prefs.
Nope. That did not do it.
I just did that as in my reply to the first post. IT DID NOT WORK. 😢
Does this happen if, for instance, you paste a link into a TextEdit document, or is it isolated to your browsers?
When I copy an image or text that has a link into text edit, it turns the linked image to text. When I roll the cursor over it, no change in cursor. It remains the arrow. If I right click on the text it will open the URL. Is that what you mean?
Yes, that's what I meant.
Create a new User go to System Preferences > Users & Groups > "+" (make it an admin acct) and test the cursor in this new account, if it works the problem is isolated to your User and not systemwide.
