- Which version of iTunes are you using?
- What is your iPod software version as shown on the iTunes Summary page?
Error 143x, normally caused by harddisk write timeout, probably due to
- iPod Hardisk failing - Do the iPod Disk Diagnostic refer to this earlier tt2 post
- Slow USB port, low datarate, due to sharing with other USB devices - Disconnect all other USB devices while Restoring or syncing. Dont use any USB hub and also use the USB port at the back of the PC. and not the front.
- CPU Resource drained by other Apps like email, Antivirus, web broswer - Stop them, but if stopping Antivirus please disconnect the PC from the Internet first.
