I have a 2nd Generation Ipod Touch. I put it into Recovery mode so the screen has the picture of an iTunes logo and a USB. I then plugged it into iTunes and it found my device in recovery mode. I clicked on Restore and it does its thing, extracted and then it went to "Waiting For Ipod" and on the ipod is the reboot screen with an empty loading bar. And it just stays like that and wont restore. Please help me fix this! What do I do?

Did you check your security software settings? iTunes has to be able to contact Apple during the restore process:

I did read that but I still am not sure what to do :/
Try to deactivate your antivirus software and see if you can restore after that.
Oh ok ya that's what I thought it said, but i wasnt sure if there was more to it thanks ill try that!
Ok i disabled everything and then tried restoring it but it got stuck at "Waiting for iPod" on the computer and on the iPod was the Apple logo and a loading bar that wasnt loading... Any other suggestions?
Did you already try to put it into recovery mode before restoring?
That's where you hold the power and home button for a certain amount of seconds right? I also put it in DFU mode and tried to restore it but every time it gets stuck at "Waiting for iPod" :/
Did you already try to connect to another computer and see if you can restore?
If this does not work, you might have to get it looked at in an Apple Store of by contacting Apple support:
Yes I did try that because I read to do that on some other site but got stuck still... And looks like I'm stuck with going to the store ha, although they arent very helpful at my local store :/ if you or anyone has any other suggestions I'm up to try anything! And thank you btw!
