For some reason my Compressor won't add any files to the source.
For example I'm trying to add a ~30GB .mp4 to the source so that I convert it.
Not sure what other details I can give other than this.
Compressor, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
Where did the file come from?

I used Subler to remove subtitles from an mkv so that they wouldn't be hard coded, Subler created the mp4.
I should also point out this is happening with other files, I have an under 1GB .mp4 with the same problem, which has not gone through Subler.
I imagine Compressor doesn't like whatever is in the MP4.
Try bringing in a garden variety .mov with a common codec inside…say, h.264, and see whether it performs as expected.

How would I get that particular file, the video I'm using now has H.264 and DTS.
When you open the files in QuickTime Player, do they have a buffer bar that needs to load before they can be played back? If so, Compressor likely needs to fully load the video before it can work with the file. I've run into this with .mkv files, so maybe the .mp4 files sourced from .mkv have the same behavior.
In these cases I generally save a referenced .mov file from Quicktime 7 Pro and drop that in Compressor for a smoother workflow. It still needs to fully buffer in QT7 Pro before you can do a Save As, though.
