My computer will not sync with my iPad. It is telling me I don't have the latest version of iTunes on my brand new iPad. Downloaded latest on both but it still will not sync. Help please.

Windows 2000 is not supported.
From Apple:
Syncing with iTunes on a Mac or PC requires:
Mac: OS X v10.5.8 or later
PC: Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
iTunes 10.6 or later (free download from www.itunes.com/download)
And just to clarify further, iTunes is installed on a computer, not the iPad!
My computer continues to pop up that I don't have the latest version of iTunes on my brand new I pad. It won't let me sync.
