I am having syncing issues.

Hello,

I am having a problem with synching my iPhone to iTunes, It starts off syncing and when it gets to step 5 or 6 I get an error message: ...Cannot be synced. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation. I am not a techie - so will apprecite detailed assistance. It should be noted that I have already tried to add write permissions in the folder where my ITunes is stored, but does not seem to help.
