Q: How can I connect my Ipad (3rd generation) to my Iphone 4 for data connection

I've just bought a new Ipad 3rd generation with 3g and Wi-Fi but wanted to try and connect to data via my Iphone 4 instead of buying a sim card

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 5.1

iOS: Understanding personal hotspot

You will probably have to purchase the additional plan from your carrier in order to use the personal hotspot feature on the iPhone.
