Jun 27, 2012 11:22 PM in response to iamsos91206by Terence Devlin,That file is in
HD/Library/Preferences
Though I don't believe that it will repair a "contaminated" (do you mean 'Corrupted'?) xml file.

Jun 28, 2012 10:58 PM in response to iamsos91206by Terence Devlin,Well thatt's where it used to be. How old is this suggestion?
In any event, it's quite pointless, it won't fix a corrupted xml file.

Oct 2, 2012 4:11 PM in response to iamsos91206by Doug Adams,The com.apple.iApps.plist file is located in the user Library folder ([username]/Library/), not the startup disk's Library folder. This folder is hidden by default as of OS X 10.6. To make it visible, hold the Option key and click on the Finder's "Go" menu, and select "Library" from the popup. There are several methods you can use to keep it visible. One way is to drag the folder to the Finder's sidebar.
