I have two MID keyboards. Can I use both of them at the same time as different instruments in MainStage? For example while I'm playing violin with one keyboard, can I play a complimentary piano, or drums, or guitar ect..? I am asking this, because I know I cannot do this with GarageBand. I also have not bothered to try doing this with Logis, but if I can with Logic too, can someone tell me?

Yes, you can connect as many keyboards as you want plus audio devices. However: the application is designed for one person, not a band. This means: patch changes always apply to all connected instruments.

It is possible to connect two keyboards which play two different virtual instruments at the same time. In the channel strip software instrument / Midi Input, you chose for each software instrument the selected keyboard.
