i tryed to update my ipod on another computer and it put it in recovery mode.how do i get it out of recovery mode without losing media.

You will lose data. Restore it and use your last backup
If this program does not work then you will have to restore.
how do you work recboot
It is a computer program. After you download it and install it, open it and connect your iPod and then click on the button that says get the iOS device out of recovery mode.
