Doors transition

Hi to everybody,

believe me or not, I'm doin' a musical using only Keynote!

Just few furnishings on the stage (a pair a chairs, a small sofà) and the rest of the scenography will be screened with KN.

I've done the backtracks in a couple of years (arrangement from the original score of the opera, recording, mixing... script...), and the rest it was done with KN: I use a picture for any scene of the work and (for istance) if in the scene 1 needs of 6 songs, I leave the same dia (a lounge) and change just the song with the space bar, pressing the space bar after the sixth song will be activate the transition for the next scene and next image (a garden) or a blank screen (in Italy we say: "buio" = "dark").

In the intro of Second Act I've used the "Door" transition (I don't know the english name, but in italian is called "Porta" = "Door", not confusing with "Revolving door"), I've created a blank screen with a fading transition on the lounge picture, but above the lounge background I put a divided picture (lef and right door) of an ancient wood door with the "Door" transition, so when the blank fade it appears the closed door and when the music stops the door opens as a real door and it appears the lounge.

Not bad, uh? 😉

I have a problem (not mentioning my poor english) in the First Act, when the uncle disinherits the nephew, I need of the same transition, but on the opposite version, a closing gate. For now I've resolved with the same trick as above, but with the... ehrm... "Curtain" (?) transition, but I not sure if in the 19th Century there were doors that were closed as elevators. 😁

So there's a way to edit / find / create this transition, please.

Configuration: Keynote 5.1.1 - Lion 10.7.4 - MacBook 13" 2,13 Ghz Intel Core Duo - 4 GB 800 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM.
