Jun 28, 2012 4:11 AM in response to Nisk1012by thegeek,I have seen the app page
It states that it is free but you can buy the full version from within the app.
You may have done an in app purchase by mistake. Once bought you cannot return.
Please be careful next time and read any message or pop up by any app rather than ignoring it.
You cannot undo the purchase. Now you have bought so enjoy the full version.

Jun 28, 2012 4:30 AM in response to Nisk1012by Meg St._Clair,Is this the 1st time you've purchased something? Or the 1st time with that card? To verify a new card, Apple puts a hold on the card for a small amount of money. In the U.S., it's $1. Once the card is verified, the hold is removed. Perhaps that is what you're seeing.

Jan 23, 2013 2:45 PM in response to thegeekby cheif_pohbah,i understand what you are saying, however it requires a password inorder for it to be downloaded. i have downloaded panda jam free and have been charged £34.99 on two occasions, i wouldnt have allowed my two young children to do this and i have just checked but you NEED the password inorder to process the buying of the app or any additions within the game. i hadnt given my children the password so how come i have now got two bills for £34.99?

Mar 3, 2013 12:00 AM in response to Nisk1012by MrMagooSE,I have been charged huge amount 100$ (750 SEK) for "Panda Jam, 120,000 coin bundle" and have not agreed about it and not enter the password within the app.
Hope Panda Jam developer SGN solves this or Apple makes sure it is not happen again.
How can I cancel the purchase or complain to responsible?

Sep 8, 2013 12:51 AM in response to Nisk1012by Diavonex,It's probably the authorizing hold.
If you update your billing information, the iTunes Store will place an authorization hold on your payment card account, usually in the amount of 1 USD, to verify your account information.

Feb 10, 2014 4:22 PM in response to thegeekby bevmaccat,Feels like gobbledy gook.. What is the difference when I download the app that says it is free? I contacted iTunes about the charge of $4.99 for the free Skype from my iPad apps. They reversed the charge, explained that it was an "in app". All I did was download it period. Used it once and got a bill. How am I supposed to figure out what "in app" means. They sent me all the links so I disabled "in app", but I still don't know if I can use that Skype app now, (that I incurred a fee) already downloaded or if I'll be charged again and again. Free means free, no?
